Caps Drop Game 2 In Double OT

Well that stunk. After winning game 1 in OT, the Caps came out and lost game 2 in double OT. The Caps did a lot of things right- Ovi played much better, getting on the board, as did John Carlson. But unfortunately for the Caps, two of the goals came when defensemen lost their sticks, including the GWG, and the JVR goal bounced off of Beagle’s skate. Just really, really rough luck. One of those games that was definitely winnable, but Toronto didn’t play too bad themselves.

So we’re onto Toronto for game 3. Hopefully the Caps get back on track and play like we know they are capable of, because Toronto for sure isn’t fucking around.
